This course is available on public schedule, closed company on/off site or 1-2-1.
The aim of this course is to give the busy administrator the skills to prioritise, organise and manage their working day. During the day delegates will also take a look at certain legislation that may effect their working environment.
Prerequisites
Anyone in an administrative role wishing to improve their business skills.
Delegates will learn how to
- Expertise in dealing with interruptions
- An understanding of how tasks can be better organised, delegated or eradicated
- An understanding of the Data Protection Act and Health and Safety Issues
- An understanding of how behaviour affects good working relationships
- An understanding of how to set clear communication objectives
- How to plan internal and external communication

- Organisational Skills (works styles, routine planning and prioritising time management)
- Time and Self-Management (Handling paperwork/saying 'No'/giving and receiving instructions)
- An Overview of the Data Protection Act
- Health & Safety quiz
- Being an Effective Communicator as well as Administrator (identifying key skills/listening and questioning technique/body language/handling difficult situations)
