Overview

This course combines MS50331 (previously MS6293) and MS6292 into a 5 Day course to provide delegates with the appropriate skills for supporting Windows 7 in the Enterprise and also to prepare individuals for the certification exam 70-685: Pro: Windows 7, Enterprise Desktop Support Technician.

Profile

This three-day instructor-led course is intended for IT professionals who are interested in expanding their knowledge base and technical skills about Windows 7 Client. In this course, students learn how to install, upgrade, and migrate to Windows 7 client. Students then configure Windows 7 client for network connectivity, security, maintenance, and mobile computing.

Part 2 – M50331 – Enterprise Desktop Support Technician Windows 7 – Workshop

Profile

This two-day instructor-led workshop is intended for IT professionals who are interested in expanding their knowledge base and technical skills about Windows 7 Client. In this workshop, students learn how to troubleshoot Windows 7 installation, Application Installation, Network Connectivity issues, as well as monitor and manage not only desktop PC’s but laptops as well.  Resolution of hardware failures, troubleshooting security issues within file encryption, IE 8, Windows Defender, as well as configuring Windows 7 to comply with patching solutions. Students spend the majority of their time troubleshooting and resolving issues in a Lab environment to assist with real life situations.
